Sage Automotive Interiors announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to move into a newly-constructed facility on Clemson University’s International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) campus. The building will become the international headquarters for Sage.

Abbeville County is the proud recipient of a generous gift from Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, Inc. that will foster economic development and industrial recruitment for the region. Pacolet Milliken recently deeded the former Milliken Honea Path textile facility to Abbeville County.

Bosch Rexroth Corporation Announces Investment in Greenville County  

The South Carolina Department of Commerce, the Greenville Area Development Corporation and Bosch Rexroth Corporation announced that the company will expand its hydraulics business unit in Greenville County. Bosch will invest $10 million and expects to create up to 50 new jobs.

American Truetzschler Inc. Announces Expansion in Greer  

The South Carolina Department of Commerce, the Greenville Area Development Corporation and the Greer Development Corporation announced that American Truetzschler Inc. will expand its operations into Greenville County, as the result of the acquisition of the Hollingsworth company assets. The $3.5 million investment is expected to generate 30 new jobs.

The South Carolina Department of Commerce and Laurens County announced that Fisher Barton South Carolina Inc. will expand its facility in Laurens County. The $2 million investment is expected to generate 15 new jobs.

MSC Begins Asia-Suez Service in Charleston  

Mediterranean Shipping Company’s (MSC) “Golden Gate Service” (GGS) made its inaugural call today in the Port of Charleston, linking the Southeast’s deepest seaport with China, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
